While tuning our upcoming MK7 Stage 3 turbocharger system, we pushed many boundaries in an effort to find the limit where increasing boost pressure would start to result in compressor surge. We also took this opportunity to see if the APR Carbon Fiber Intake System was a restriction while producing over 500 HP. We dynoed with the APR intake system, and then replaced it with an ideal entrance and dynoed again. Based on all data we’ve collected, the results were as as expected; No loss in power with the APR intake installed! If you’re looking for the best intake on the market, and one that will work no matter how far you push the engine, the APR Carbon Fiber Intake system is the way to go! Enjoy the video.
